Florida legislature’s implementation of the REAL ID Act, a federal homeland security measure passed to fight terrorism and reduce fraud, impacts everyone who wants a driver license or ID card. You must visit our offices in person and present the required documentation to receive your REAL ID. A REAL ID will be required to board commercial flights and enter federal buildings.

How do I know if I’ve been REAL ID’d? REAL ID’s have a gold star in the upper right hand corner.

Download a checklist with the new identification requirements you’ll need to bring with you to meet the REAL ID requirements.
